Hex Hall

Photobucket

I've just finished reading Hex hall by Rachel Hawkins. I quite liked it to be honest. It was an easy read and sometimes that's just the kind of read I like. Another bonus is that it's short so it was a nice break from the other books I'm reading.

For now

I'm doing this instead of finishing my assignment. Procrastination is the bane of my life.

After my little obsession with Twilight fan fiction (which is now slowly fading) I've returned once again to actual books I can hold in my hand. I've purchased quite a few in the last week or so... so many in fact that I've had to give my debit card to my boyfriend to stop me buying more. That doesn't actually prevent me from buying them though, as I can get hold of more through amazon without actually having my card in my hand. But, so far I haven't bought anymore, but my basket has 18 books in it and save for later has 16. I only have 2 in my wish list because I haven't really used that yet.

The trouble I'm having now is that I'm obsessed with the Georgian, and Regency era (I have to be obsessed with one thing or another) again. But it is worst than last time. Last time I hid out in the library and read everything I could (I think I was about 18), now I'm buying them.

It starts with Jane Austen (where it always starts), and Georgiana the Duchess of Devonshire; these two women own my life right now. I'm currently reading 3 books; a Jane Austen Bio, a Georgiana DDss Bio, and Jane Austen's Persuasion. But it's the Georgiana Bio that I can't put down. I recently bought her book 'The Sylph' which I will be reading when these 3 are finished.

I'll post my current to-read list soon, but for now I have an assignment to finish ~sigh
